my story

I am a French Canadian originally from Bertrand, a small town in the North-East part of the province. I lived there until I was in my early twenties. I am now living in the boonies 😉, close to the town of Moncton, situated in South-East New-Brunswick.

My pottery journey all started 20 years ago when I received my fist handmade pottery mug. Little did I realised it then, it touched something deep inside of me…my soul!!!

I then started to visit pottery stores all around the Maritimes and started my pottery handmade coffee mug collection. I would plan my vacation with pottery in mind. I have over 30+ art pieces from different local artists now. I always wanted to take a pottery class, but my work schedule was making it difficult for me.

In 2019 I took the plunge by taking my first pottery class. At that time, my plan was to start slowly, but the passion and desire to make pottery was too strong. I started to buy some equipment and then kept adding to it.

Making handmade pottery is my ultimate therapy!! Living with chronic pain for many years, pottery takes my mind off the pain and brings it to a place where I feel calm, comforted and happy. It made me realize I need pottery in my life.

I now have a fully functional pottery studio in my home!! A dream come true!!

My deepest wish is that you can find a passion of your own to brighten your day like pottery is to me.
